Spinal Correction Centers offers massage therapy at our Dunedin, Largo, St. Pete, and Tampa locations. We provide therapy by massaging the layers of muscle and connective tissue using proven methods.  Massage therapy will:

  • Promote blood flow
  • Help with healing
  • Bring back movement to frozen or weakened muscle groups
  • Relieve stress through feelings of well-being

When used with our structural corrections work, our patients gain in health and it speeds their recovery.  A short 15-30 minute massage can shorten the length of time it takes to get results. The massages you’ll get at Spinal Corrections Centers are different than you’d find in a spa. This is because our focus is to relax muscles around where bone shifts are found in your body. Adding routine massage in these areas loosens the muscles that may also be causing the shifts in your spine.  By stretching and softening these muscles, corrected bones have a better chance to stay in place.

Purpose of Our Massage Services

  • Aid general and local relaxation
  • Relieve pain
  • Reduce chronic swelling
  • Scar tissue (on the surface, or deep scar tissue)
  • Pain in muscles, tendons, ligaments or joints

Our massage therapy services physiologically relieve pain and metabolically prepare the injured or involved muscles for exercise.

Massage can help treat and relieve pain along the spine and in muscle groups. Also, massage can be used to prepare healthy muscles for sports activity, or to help the body recover after exercise.
