Structural Chiropractor in Tampa Bay

Traditional Chiropractic vs. Structural Chiropractic

Before getting into our focus, we want to be clear on what a Traditional Chiropractor’s goals are in practice. Typically they aim to:

  • Increase range of motion
  • Relieve or reduce pain
  • Reduce muscular spasm

Most Traditional Chiropractors in the Tampa Bay Area are EXCELLENT at obtaining these goals of managing secondary condition (symptoms), however, our objective is different…

Our Structural Chiropractors utilize state-of-the-art equipment to determine the presence of a subluxation (structural shift) of the spine, which is typically the underlying cause of numerous secondary conditions (symptoms) that you may be experiencing. If a structural shift is detected, our doctors create a customized plan to correct these abnormalities so that you can not just feel better but STAY better.

Structural Corrective Chiropractic Care

With 5 offices around Tampa Bay, Spinal Correction Centers works on Structural Correction.  More than 100 years ago, humans developed chiropractic methods as a gentle and non-invasive process of healing. These methods were created as a way of restoring balance and health to the entire body. These tactics are safe for people of all ages including children and expecting mothers.

Our doctors remove slight shifts in the spine that cause problems in nerve signals between the brain and body. These minor shifts are called vertebral subluxations, and can be caused by physical, chemical and emotional stress.

If left unchecked, vertebral subluxations may lead to other problems or disease in other areas of the body. These can include common  irritations such as:

  • high blood pressure
  • migraines
  • neck pain
  • shoulder pain
  • low back pain
  • jaw/TMJ pain
  • acid reflux
  • tinnitus
  • allergies

Less common problems include:

  • fibromyalgia
  • vertigo/dizziness
  • carpal tunnel syndrome
  • paresthesia
  • trigeminal neuralgia
  • Meniere’s disease

How Structural Correction Works

At the heart of our techniques is the relationship between the natural curve of the neck bones, and nerve impulses that travel through them. The alignment of the bones in the neck changes how nerve impulses travel through the spinal cord. Consequently, this affects how they are sent out to the rest of the body. This relationship affects the whole body, from the way your muscles move, to how well your organs work. The line of the neck bones is first and foremost because this curve affects hearing, seeing, thinking and breathing.

Spinal Correction Centers is staffed with 5 Structural Chiropractors who focus on the cause of dis-ease, and not just the symptoms. The law of cause and effect drives the success of our work. Chiropractic assumes a cause for each symptom of dis-ease. Our doctors focus their efforts on locating and removing obstructions in the nerve system. Aligning the bones can allow the body to heal itself naturally without the use of medications or surgery. Correcting the curves of the spine allows the person to actually get better, not just feel better.

Sorry for the misunderstanding but we do not operate on any of our patients. We do, however, have patients under the age of 75 that come into our clinics to get their spines checked and corrected when needed. We offer complimentary consultations where you can have the chance to sit down with one of our doctors and have a conversation about how Structural Correction may be able to help you. Please call the nearest office and our friendly front desk staff will be more than happy to get one scheduled for you. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call us during normal hours. Thank you and have a good day.
